Summary:
The primary job responsibilities of the position are to perform all functions to manufacture high quality flexographic printing plates at required levels of output.
This position works the OVERNIGHT SHIFT.
Essential Job Functions &
Responsibilities:
Operate Cyrel Digital Imager (CDI) Operate DuPont Plate Processor Operate ESKO Kongsberg plate cutting table Operate Renzmann plate solvent still Inspect and quality check finished plates Properly Pack finished plates for shipment Complies with all general Company-wide standard operating procedures (SOP's) and any job or department specific SOP's.
SOP's may cover the areas of (but are not limited to) Employee Health and Safety SQF (Safe Quality Food packager) and GMP (good manufacturing procedures) focused on eliminating contaminates in all packaging manufactured.
SGP (Sustainable Green Printer) environmental regulatory procedures and SOP's Must work within productivity standards and completes work in a timely manner.
Special Projects & other duties as necessary Requirements
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
5 yrs.
Flexographic solvent platemaking preferred Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Excellent time management skills.
Other knowledge, skills and abilities:
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Must demonstrate the ability to maintain confidentiality of information to Company and Federal standards.
Must be able to adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands and be able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to move and lift up to 40 lbs.
(intermittently) Working Conditions:
