L3Harris is seeking a hands-on Integration & Test Engineer to join our talented teamThis is an opportunity to take on unique challenges, expand your skills and experience, and contribute to our Telemetry & RF products that support war fighters for the USA and our alliesYou will join a team of talented professionals with world class technical expertise who take a collaborative approachIn this position, you will be responsible for the design and development of manual and automated test stations used in all stages of product development and manufacturingYou will perform development and verification testing for new and modified productsWorking with Operations technicians and supervisors, you will be responsible for the troubleshooting and fixing test equipment issues in manufacturingYou will support customer testing of Telemetry & RF productsThe ideal candidate should have a background in test engineering with familiarity with RF, digital, or analog products
Essential Functions:
o Specify design, implement, verify, and release to development of manufacturing manual or automated test stands to meet program needs.
o Write software to support test equipment operation, electronic data storage and reports, and data analysis.
o Assist in the identification and selection of test equipment and related equipment and software.
o Recommend Design-For-Test capabilities within new products.
o Interface with customers to solve problems and recommend approaches to test.
o Support Sales & Marketing to aid with technical scope of work to develop quotes for Test Engineering tasks.
o Perform development and verification/validation testing of new products and sub-systems.
o Support testing in Operations or at customer facility as required.
o Develop and clearly write detailed test plans, test procedures, and test result documents.
o Prepare calibration and maintenance policies and procedures.
o Conduct test failure analysis and reporting.
o Assist in establish operating standards for test systems including control plans and work instructions.
o Analyze equipment needs, recommend test equipment purchase, and cost saving alternatives.
o Engineering/first article testing.
o Off-site environmental testing as needed
Qualifications:
o Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience OR Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experiencePreferred Additional Skills:
o Ability to obtain Interim Secret Clearance, US Citizenship Requiredo Knowledge / use of equipment required for test of RF, analog, or digital products, developing test software and automating test systems, and electronic hardware assembly troubleshooting skills at the printed circuit board and component levelo Analog and digital data-acquisition and signal conditioning experience.
o Experience with verification and validation testing.
o Experience or familiarity with LabVIEW and TestStando Familiarity with military test standards.
o Networking and/or RF experience a plus.
o Strong verbal and written communication skills.
o Highly organized and able to multi-task on many different projects at once.
o Ability to make technical decisions and complete project objectives within budget and schedule.
o Active secret security clearance desired.
o Experience in Root Cause Corrective Action process and techniques.
o Manufacturing Methods and Procedures.
o Process Improvement.
