Description
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF JOB:
L\-3 Telemetry & RF Products \- Bristol is seeking a Contracts Administrator to perform cradle\-to\-grave contracts management for federal and commercial contracts and subcontracts\. The Contracts Administrator will report to the Contracts Manager\.
BASIC JOB DUTIES:
+ Draft, review, and conduct negotiations based upon the strategic objectives of the Division including but not limited to terms and conditions, Proprietary Information/Nondisclosure Agreements, Teaming Agreements, Subcontracts, modifications, and final closeout / releases\.
+ Negotiate, coordinate, and disseminate amendments or modifications regarding prime and subcontracts to various internal disciplines\.
+ Support key Stakeholders in the day\-to\-day conduct of business\.
+ Review proposals/bids to ensure the Division?s interests \(such as Intellectual Property\) are adequately protected, and company policies are adhered to\.
+ Review, process, acknowledge Contracts/Purchase Orders, including compliance to quoted efforts\.
+ Execute contractual instruments in the name of the corporation within the constraints as delegated by the Contract Manager\.
+ Perform effective contract administration in order to ensure contract fulfillment in accordance with company policy, legal requirements, and the negotiated terms and conditions\.
+ Ensure compliance to FAR, DFARS, UCC, CAS, EAR/ITAR regulations and requirements\.
+ Conduct meetings to provide customer and company management and personnel with current status and ensure understanding of contractual commitments\.
+ Maintain awareness of profitability of programs and make recommendations to responsible functions for improving profitability where warranted\.
+ Will be the primary contact with assigned contracts on all contractual matters\.

Qualifications
SKILL KNOWLEDGE LEVEL REQUIRED:
+ Intermediate knowledge of Governmental Regulations, public Laws, Directives, Customers, and methods of operations of various governmental agencies are essential to the performance of this position\.
+ Working knowledge of various contract types to include CPFF, CPIF, T&M, FFP and IDIQs\.
+ Strong attention to detail and ability to multi\-task in a dynamic, fast\-paced environment is an absolute must\.
+ Qualified candidates must also have superior aptitude for negotiations, analytical concepts, oral and written communication skills, customer focus, teamwork abilities, integrity, and relationship\-building skills\.
+ Working knowledge of general business administration including marketing, accounting, program management and business development\.
+ Time management skills are a must, as well as the ability to be flexible and creative\.
+ Ability to work with minimal supervision while exercising discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance\.
+ Must be computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications \(Excel, Word, PowerPoint\)\. Knowledge of various ERP systems a plus\.
+ Must be able to obtain a security clearance\.
EDUCATION:
+ Degree in Business Administration or related discipline is preferred\. A certification and/or membership from the National Contract Management Association \(CFCM, CCCM, and CPCM\) are highly preferred\.
EXPERIENCE:
+ 3\-9 years Contract Administration experience working with Defense, Federal, and/or Commercial Regulations\.
REQUIRED TRAINING:
At L\-3 Telemetry& RF Products, you will own your individual career and actively participate in the planning of your professional development\. Relevant Professional Certification\(s\) and Membership\(s\) are encouraged in order to increase credibility as well as remain current on industry trends and best practices\. Other training may be required in accordance with division and corporate guidelines based on job responsibilities\.
+ Experience in lieu of a degree will be considered\.
+ This position may be filled at a higher grade based on the successful applicant's skills, education and experience\.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
