L3 Technologies Telemetry & RF Products located in Bristol, Pennsylvania is currently looking for a Bids & Proposals Associate to join our team\.
Level of experience will determine position level \(II ? III\)

Basic Duties & Responsibilities
+ Reports to Sr\. Manager Bids & Proposals
+ Direct interface with Business Development personnel for all proposal commitments\.
+ Development of outlines, writing assignments, work breakdown structures \(WBS\) and proposals schedules based on RFQ/RFP requirements\.
+ Lead/participate in kick\-off, status and review meetings\.
+ Prioritization of proposal activities
+ Coordination of functional departments for task prioritization and due dates\.
+ Schedule and lead cost review/approval meetings\.
+ Analyze and evaluate Basis of Estimates \(BOE\) and cost inputs for adequacy, accuracy and responsiveness to RFP requirements\.
+ Prepare and formalize bid response for review, approval and submittal\.
+ Support customer and Government fact\-finding, audits and negotiations\.
+ Provide direction and problem resolution during proposal phase\.
+ Attend daily Bids and Proposals review meeting\.
+ Coordinate with Business Development to establish writing themes and estimating ground rules and assumptions\.
+ Perform detailed cost analysis\.
+ Perform other related duties as required\.
+ 3\-9 years of Bids &Proposals experience strongly desired with experience in Aerospace & Defense industry preferred
+ Ability to interface with customers and vendors\.
+ Ability to interface with internal Upper Management, Engineering, Operations, Program Management, Business Development and Quality organizations\.
+ Strong organizational and planning skills\.
+ Detail oriented\.
+ Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite required \(specifically Word and Excel\)\.
+ Ability to work independently to meet proposal requirements on time and within budget\.
+ Must have excellent oral and written communication skills\.
+ Familiar with the use of computers as a management tool to produce milestone schedules, spreadsheets, pivot tables and other program related reports\. Knowledge of Microsoft Project is desirable\.
+ Working knowledge of engineering and production processes is desirable\.
+ Working knowledge of government Federal Acquisition Regulations \(FAR\) is desirable\.
+ Working knowledge of financial principals is desired\.
+ Ability to obtain a security clearance is required\.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
