Description
HR Business Partners (HRBP) provide counsel, advisory and consultative services to department leaders on people-related issues. They provide inputs to business decisions, people processes and organizational design from a people management perspective. HRBPs, in collaboration with COEs and OneSource, shape the delivery of HR programs and services to the business based on a deep understanding of the business environment and strategy and their people management implications. They provide business-driven inputs to COEs and Employee Services, enabling them to create business-focused solutions. HRBPs draw upon other parts of HR to bring the right mix of services to the businesses they support
40% - Collaborate with people managers to solve local business issues and employee relations challenges. Proactively identify employee trends or issues and advise managers on appropriate actions and solutions. Create positive employee and labor relations by executing on HR strategy and mediating performance management and employee issues. Ensure compliance with regulatory and Company requirements by interpreting Company policy and procedure. Foster and maintain a work environment reflective of Estee Lauder values and culture.
30% - Provide guidance to managers to positively influence management approach based on people knowledge. Build and maintain strong relationships that create an environment of trust, accountability, and open communication for all employees. Support LEAN and Behaviorally-Based Safety activities in manufacturing operations. Advise and support managers in performance management and professional development activities. Facilitate and collaborate in talent acquisition activities, as required by local process.
15% - Partner with other HR functions (e.g., COE's, Employee Services) on local business requirements regarding talent acquisition, benefits, compensation, and records management; act as liaison for COE services with local managers. Align best practices with HR colleagues within North American Supply Chain and Operating Sites.
10% - Facilitate effective communication to managers and employees on Company and local polices, practices, and initiatives. Support change management communications, activities, and programs.
5% - Perform other duties as assigned, including but not limited to supporting corporate events, seasonal staffing programs, employee morale or engagement activities, etc.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
