For the 1970 model year the Pontiac gave the GTO a revamped look.
Styling changes included a total Endura nosepiece with split oval grilles and dual headlamp housings, creased body sides, different rear-bumper taillamps, and exhaust pipes that exited through a valance panel under the rear bumper.
Of the 40,149 Pontiac GTO's made for 1970, only 3,629 of those were the convertible making nice examples like this one hard to find.
Instrumentation consists of a 140-mph speedometer, analog tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level.
The analog odometer displays just 23,541 miles.
